Play

  • What is a Prop Pick?

Step into the Arena Showdown—a fast-paced, skill-based fantasy sports contest where you compete against a curated group of players matched to your skill level. This isn’t a free-for-all; it’s a strategic head-to-head battle where smart decisions and sharp insights determine the winner.

Players make prop picks by selecting whether specific in-game events—such as a player scoring over or under a projected number of points, yards, or other statistics—will occur. Each pick requires careful analysis, turning every contest into a test of knowledge, strategy, and timing

  • What are bananas?
Banana Picks are high-risk, high-reward options. They’re more challenging to hit but offer larger payouts as well. There are several versions of Banana Picks, each with its own difficulty level and unique icon. The more bananas you see, the higher the payout multiplier—and the greater the difficulty.
  • What are coconuts?
Coconut Picks are lower-risk, lower-reward. These are generally easier to hit and come with smaller payouts. Like bananas, coconut picks also vary in difficulty. A whole coconut may represent the hardest coconut pick, while a piña colada is the easiest option in the coconut category, offering the lowest multiplier in that set.
  • What are Tiki Masks?
Tiki Masks indicate that the proposition displayed is a hot pick. Hot picks are popular picks among the community.
  • What are the standard payouts?
Please see each game's specific information for points and scoring.
  • What happens if a player I chose doesn't play?

If a player you selected does not participate in their scheduled game or event, FlexBets will apply our standard rules for inactive players.

In most cases, the selection involving the inactive player will not count towards your entry. The remaining selections will continue to stand, and your payout will be recalculated based on the updated entry. 2-pick entries or entries with players from only one team left will be voided and refunded.

Please refer to the FlexBets Rules and Scoring Policy for full details, as treatment may vary depending on the contest type.

  • What is a bench player?
You can choose to designate one of your picks as a "bench player." This will change your entry type to a bench entry, a contest type exclusive to FlexBets. If any of your standard picks miss, but you picked your bench player correctly, the bench player will "sub in" and take the place of your missed pick.
  • What happens if a player ties their projection?

If a player you selected ties their projection, the selection will not count towards your entry. The remaining selections will continue to stand, and your payout will be recalculated based on the updated entry. 2-pick entries or entries with players from only one team left will be voided and refunded.

Please refer to the FlexBets Rules and Scoring Policy for full details, as treatment may vary depending on the contest type.

  • When will my entry be marked final?
Entries generally settle as soon as the official score is finalized following the conclusion of the game.
  • What are the leaderboard types?
FlexBets uses two types of leaderboards to show your and your team's performance:
    • The Ranking Leaderboard: This leaderboard shows how you (or your team) rank across the entire platform based on the Rank Points you’ve earned. These points reflect your ongoing performance over time for a particular DFS season, giving you a sense of where you stand compared to all other players or teams.
    • The Competition Leaderboard: This leaderboard applies to a specific competition you’ve joined. It ranks players or teams based only on the points earned from their picks in that competition. The participant or team with the highest score at the end of the competition wins the highest score payout multiplier for that event if it is greater than the standard payout multiplier earned for their picks.
  • How does the Competition Leaderboard work?
The Competition Leaderboard ranks all entrants based on points the picks in their entry achieved. Banana picks score more points and coconut picks score less points so it's possible for a non-perfect entry to score more points than a perfect entry.
    • If no one submits a perfect entry, the top overall score earns the Highest Score Payout Multiplier.
    • If there are perfect entries, but a non‑perfect entry scores higher, the top score still earns the Highest Score Payout Multiplier.
    • Any perfect entries still receive the Perfect Entry Multiplier, even if they don’t win the top score.
The Competition Leaderboard ensures both the highest scorer and any perfect entries are rewarded appropriately.
  • Do I need a perfect entry to win the Competition Leaderboard?
No. You can still win the highest score payout multiplier as long as your or your team's entry finishes with the highest score in the contest's leaderboard. Perfect entries are rewarded when they happen, but they are not required to win. If two or more entrants tie for the highest score, the highest score payout multiplier with be split evenly between the winners.
  • What if I submit a perfect entry and also get the highest score on the leaderboard?
You will be awarded only the highest payout multiplier your entry qualifies for.
  • How does the Ranking Leaderboard work?
Players and teams are ranked against each other based on the points their picks earn. When you choose a proposition marked with a coconut or banana, it adjusts the number of points you can earn for that pick.
    • Each coconut tier SUBTRACTS 0.2 points from a correct pick.
    • Each banana tier ADDS 0.3 points to a correct pick.
    • Incorrect picks always earn 0 points, and no modifiers (banana or coconut) apply to incorrect picks.
The highest score on the Ranking Leaderboard qualifies for the Highest Score Payout Multiplier, even if the entered picks do not qualify for a standard or insured payout multiplier.

Scoring

  • Can I dispute your scoring?
FlexBets uses statistics exclusively from official league sources or trusted third-party providers. Payouts will not be adjusted based on alternative scoring sources, including but not limited to video recordings.
  • What if FlexBets uploads an incorrect score?

At FlexBets, we strive for excellence with every contest, but occasional errors may occur. If an incorrect score is uploaded due to a mistake on our part and it impacts payouts, we will resettle all affected lineups to reflect the correct statistics.

Please note: Minor changes or adjustments to official statistics are common in certain sports and do not constitute an error on FlexBets' part. In such cases, all lineups will be settled based on the originally posted scores, as outlined in the section above regarding official stat changes.

  • Why don’t I see live scoring on my lineup?

If live scoring isn’t showing for your player prop lineup, there are several common reasons why:

    The Game Hasn’t Started Yet
Live scoring will only appear once the real-life game or event has officially begun. If it’s still in pre-game status or delayed, scoring won’t be available.

The Prop Isn’t Actively Tracked Live
Some props—especially those from niche sports, secondary leagues, or defensive stats—may not have real-time tracking. These will be updated after the game concludes.

    Stats Provider Delay
Live data comes from third-party stat providers. If they’re experiencing delays or data issues, live scoring may be temporarily unavailable or behind.

    App Delay or Connection Issue
If you're experiencing poor internet connection or an outdated app version, live scoring may not load properly. Try refreshing or checking your connection.

Live scoring is meant to enhance the experience, but all lineups are officially settled after final stat confirmation, not based on live data. If you're ever unsure, results will always be reflected in your match history once scoring is finalized.

If scoring hasn't updated within 24 hours after an event conclusion, please reach out to support.

  • Why is the live scoring on my lineup different from other sources?
Live Scoring on FlexBets is provided as a convenient snapshot of your lineup’s progress and is not intended to serve as an official scorekeeping tool. Any discrepancies between live scoring and official results will be resolved after the game using the official league box scores and statistics.

Teams

  • How do I create a team?
Navigate to the "Team" tab. If you are not currently on a team, you will be prompted to either create a team or join one. Select create a team and proceed. If you are already a part of a team, you must leave your team first and then you will receive the same prompt.
  • How do I join a team?
Navigate to the "Team" tab. If you are not currently on a team, you will be prompted to either create a team or join one. Select join a team. Pick a team to join from the "Suggested Teams" list or search for a specific team using the search bar. Click on the team to view it and then click join. If you are already a part of a team, you must leave your team first and then you will receive the same prompt.
  • What happens if I leave a team as the team captain?
If you are the captain of a team and leave the team, the top ranked co-captain will become the new team captain. If there are no co-captains, the team will be dissolved and all members will be removed from the team.
  • Can I be on more than one team?
At this time, you can only be a member of one team. However, we’re actively working on enhancements — so stay tuned, this feature may be available in the future!

Teams can have up to 15 members.

Click the down-arrow (chevron) on the button below your name and select the Jungle H2H. Then choose five (5) players to create a new match or select an available match from the lobby if one is not already open. When you create a new competition, you'll either be automatically matched with another player, or placed in the lobby until someone joins
  • What is a Head-to-Head Competition?

In a Head-to-Head (H2H) contest, you face off against a single opponent. Both participants submit their fantasy lineups, and the one with the higher score claims the entire prize pool. It's a straightforward, high-stakes format that emphasizes skill and strategy.

Players will create a match: Keep it fast and easy by making 5 picks and submitting your entry. You will be matched against a player with a similar skill level and entry amount.

Choose Opponent: View open entries submitted by others and select which opponent to take on. Choose wisely!

Challenge Mode: Got an opponent in mind? Maybe you want to prove to your friends that you are the superior player or maybe you want to take on someone from the leaderboard. Send a challenge to duke it out head-to-head.

  • How do coconuts or bananas affect my score in a head-to-head (H2H) competition?
When you select a coconut or banana for a pick, it modifies the points you can earn in the H2H competition for the pick it's associated with. - Each coconut tier SUBTRACTS 0.2 points from a correct pick. - Each banana tier ADDS 0.3 points to a correct pick. - Incorrect picks will always receive zero points, and any point modifiers (banana or coconut) do not apply.
  • What are the different coconut tiers?
There are four coconut tiers, ranging from a single solid coconut to a pina colada (drink). - Each coconut tier in a correct pick subtracts 0.2 points from your H2H score. - Example: a correct split coconut (tier 2) pick earns 0.6 points for that pick.
  • What are the different banana tiers?
There are six (6) banana tiers, ranging from a single banana to a bunch of six bananas. - Each banana tier in a correct pick adds 0.3 points to your H2H score. - Example: A correct 3 banana pick earns 1.9 points for that pick.

Jungle Prize

  • What is the Jungle Prize Entry Fee?
Each qualifying user pays a $1 entry fee.
  • What if more than one person wins the Jungle Prize?
Jungle Prize entries are scored the same way as other entries. If two people make a perfect lineup in the Jungle Prize, the person with the higher score takes it down. If both players have the same score, they split the prize.
  • Can I enter the Jungle Prize competition when placing a prop picks entry?
Yes. When placing a prop picks entry, you have an option to enter into the Jungle Prize competition. If you enter into the Jungle Prize, one dollar gets added to your entry amount to pay for the Jungle Prize entry fee.

  • What's the criteria to win the Jungle Prize?
A user wins the Jungle Prize grand prize by submitting a perfect entry with the highest score. A perfect entry means every pick/prediction in their entry is correct. Taxes

  • Can I get a win/loss statement?
You can view all deposits & withdrawals in the transaction log in your account. If you need more information, contact Support for help
  • Do I need to pay taxes on my winnings?
You're required to report all gaming winnings—including the fair market value of noncash prizes you win—as “other income” on your tax return. You can't subtract the cost of an entry from your winnings. However, you can claim your gaming losses as a tax deduction if you itemize your deductions. For example, if you win $620 but it cost you $20 to enter, your taxable winnings are $620, not $600 after subtracting your $20 entry fee. You are not permitted to "net" your winnings and losses. However, please consult a tax professional to ensure you are compliant with state and federal requirements.
  • Do I need to pay taxes on my withdrawals?
No. You only pay taxes on your winnings.
  • What is a 1099-MISC Tax form and when do I need to fill out one?
Fantasy sports organizers must send both you and the IRS a Form 1099-MISC if you take home a net profit of $600 or more for the year. You might receive a Form 1099-K as well. Fantasy sports organizers use a formula to determine when a player hits the $600 level.
